“When your values and aspirations are in harmony with the organization’s purpose, every challenge becomes an opportunity for growth,” she says. Ma’am Elds believes that because she integrated her values with the organization’s mission thus, she found greater fulfillment in her work. When personal and organizational goals are aligned, the work becomes more meaningful, and each achievement brings deeper satisfaction.
“The harder you work, the better you become.”, according to Sir Frank. This mantra has been his guiding force along with a heart of gratitude. He emphasizes the importance of being thankful for every opportunity, carrying positivity, and letting go of negativity. Growth and reward often lie beyond the familiar. “Take the risk,” he urges, “and reap the rewards after.”
Perseverance, self-love, and walking steadfastly with faith no matter the challenges are her self’s advice. “Don’t compare yourself to others,” she would say. “Learn to love yourself and never give up, no matter how many times you stumble and fall.” Ma’am Sharon's words are a powerful reminder that self-confidence paired with perseverance, is essential to pushing forward, even when the journey seems tough. Her words resonate with anyone facing obstacles.
"I’ve seen many hardships in the field—ups and downs, challenges that would make anyone want to give up. But with passion and integrity, our staff and clients will see you through the toughest times". His journey in working with the poor taught him that true fulfillment comes not from personal achievement, but from the lives he has touched. It’s the deep connection with the people that TSKI serves that continues to inspire him.
She emphasizes that no journey is without its challenges, and it’s essential to be prepared for the unexpected. “In any organization, you should expect that the worst-case scenario may happen. When it does, take the necessary steps to correct it.” This mindset has helped Ma’am Althea navigate the complexities of leadership with integrity and resilience, always staying grounded in her values and purpose.
“Beautiful things take time” is a piece of advice that Ma’am Sharmaine reminds herself of. This simple yet powerful lesson has guided her not only in her career but also in her personal life. She admits openly that she is not intelligent, nor a fast learner yet what Ma’am Sharmaine has in abundance is patience—both with herself and with the tasks at hand.
The most rewarding moments of Sir Jay’s time at TSKI have been rooted in his ability to apply what he has learned in agriculture. With over two years in the FIDA Program and three years leading the Farm-Based Enterprise Development, he is deeply grateful for the genuine friendships he has formed at TSKI. He did not only gain co-workers but also genuine friends who became his second family. These relationships have been a source of support and inspiration, motivating him to keep moving forward with passion and purpose.
